Save the bats

Bats are threatened by the extinction and until today where 27 kinds of bats discovered. Many kinds of bats are living among us, often even under our roof. It isn´t easy to notice them, because theiy have a secret life-style. This becomes to the flight artists of the night the disaster. Bats need a huge number of quarters in habitat: Places to live in winter, brood camber, night interaccommodations, barchelor`s dens. Nevertheless, with new measures and rebuilding measures many bat accommodations are often destroyed. These flaws are closed and with it important hiding place to survival for the bats. The quarter net of the bats shows more and more holes. To draw the attention to bats and to relieve the flat need of the small flight acrobats, Bavaria has brought to life the action " save the bats ". Who helps for the protection of the bat accommodations, can make it with the badge " bats welcome " visible. For an actual bat protection the still available accommodation possibilities must receive and new bat quarters in buildings be created. The costs for it are very low in most cases. The action " bats welcome " has following aims:

• receive existing and from new bat quarters also with renovation plan

• already cleaned buildings and new buildings also afterwards still

• create with easy constructive measures bat friendly buildings

• protect the bat occurence which are discovered by the construction progress
